Californication is the seventh album by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. It was released on June 8, 1999, and marks the return of the guitarist John Frusciante, replacing Dave Navarro. The album would go on to sell 15 million copies worldwide.

It has 15 tracks and includes the singles "Californication," "Scar Tissue," "Around the World" and "Otherside." In 2003, Rolling Stone ranked the album at 399 on it's 500 greatest albums of all time list.
