Bucky Covington is an upcoming American Singer who rose to fame when he was chosen one of the finalist of the top rating Reality Singing Contest American Idol. Despite, landing for just eight placed, Bucky can still be called a winner because his going to release his debut album, Bucky which is due on April 2007.

About
Bucky Covington was born on November 8, 1977 at Rocking Ham, North Carolina to Gene Covington and Deborah Gates. His real name was William Joel "Bucky" Covington III. Bucky has an identical twin brother name Rocky. Both of them grew up as a musician, Rocky was the former lead singer of Swamp Cat. In 1996, Bucky graduated at Scotland County High School.
In 2005, the identical twins auditioned for the season five of American Idol in Greensboro, North Carolina. Only Bucky has advanced to the final twelve and landed for eight place.
In the later part of 2006, Bucky signed a recording contract under Lyric Street Records. In January 2007, he released his first single, "A Different World". His debut album has released last April 17, 2007.
