Buckcherry (album) was released on April 06, 1999 under DreamWorks records. The album ranked no.74 on the The Billboard 200 chart and no.1 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart. The first single in the album "Lit Up" hit no.33 on the US Modern Rock chart. The second single ""For the Movies" ranked no.25 on the US Mainstream Rock chart. The third single "Dead Again" peaked no.38 on the US Mainstream Rock chart. The fourth single "Check Your Head" hit no.29 on the US Mainstream Rock chart. The album was produced by Terry Date and Steve Jones.
