Bryan Adams is a Canadian singer, guitarist and songwriter. Bryan was into Canada's Walk of Fame in 1998, and was recently inducted into the Music Hall of Fame at Juno's Award last April, 2006. His biggest hit album was Cuts Like A Knife.

Bryan Adams was born November 5, 1959, in Kingston, Ontario. His parents were immigrants from Britain. At his early teens, he shows an interest to music, he plays drum, took up guitar lesson, from Portugal, their family moved back to Ottawa, and then transfer to Tel Aviv. His father and grandfather want him to enroll also at Sand burst, a military academy in England but he declined. He returned with his mother and younger brother to Ottawa in the mid 70’s when his parents separated. They settled permanently in Vancouver, Canada. While he was studying in high school, he auditioned to some rock bands; he succeeded to join a band when he auditioned as a singer and not a guitarist. At the age of 16, he joins the local band called Shock.
In the year 1976, he become the new lead singer of Sweeney Todd, a band that became hit in Canada when they release their single, he replaces Nick Gilder. He decided to stop his schooling. He has done several albums with them, which were hit in Canada.
In the year 1980, he decided to have a solo career and had his first self-titled debut album. His second album, You Want It You Got It was released in 1981, his single, "Lonely Nights" which became a FM radio hit. His third album, Cuts Like a Knife in 1983 was his biggest breakthrough and has four hits. It was followed by another album, Reckless released at the end of 1984, which produced six Top 40 songs and has been certified five times platinum in the US. In 1987, his album, Into the Fire was released and been certified platinum. Bryan has released 14 albums overall, His last album released was in 2005 with his compilation album, Anthology.
