One of the biggest selling duos in Country Music, Brooks and Dunn are also an Award winning Country duo who rose to fame via their debut album, Brand New Man.

Brooks and Dunn duo was formed in 1991. The duo was composed of Ronnie Gene Dunn, who was born on June 1, 1953 at Coleman, Texas. He studied high school in Blanca, New Mexico. He took up Psychology major at Abilene Christian University. He was a dropped out student because he chooses to move in Tulsa, Oklahoma to perform there.

The other member is Leon Eric "Kix" Brooks III was born on May 12, 1955 at Shreveport, Louisiana. Kix graduated at Sewanee Military Academy. After working on Alaskan Oil Pipeline, he went to Maine and performed in Ski resorts and other venues. In the early 80's, he moved in Nashville and became successful songwriter.

One of the producers in Nashville was impressed with Kix and Ronnie's talent and so he formed the duo Brooks and Dunn. The duo released their album, Brand New Man in 1991 and became a blockbuster hit. It features three number one hit singles, "My Next Broken Heart", "New Moon" and "Boot Scootin Boogie". The album sold over five million copies.

Brooks and Dunn has released other hit album that made them an award winning Country music duo. The duo has appeared on several artists’ albums. They are one of the biggest-selling duos in Country music History.
