Brooke Valentine is an American R&B singer and songwriter who started her career as a member of the group Best Kept Secret. She released her debut album Chain Letter on 2005 which features her hit single "Girlfight".

Brooke Valentine was born on October 5, 1984 in Houston, Texas. She started her music career as a member of the female band Best Kept Secret. When she decided to pursue solo career, she moved to Los Angeles and there she signed with Virgin Records. The record company then released her debut album Chain Letter on 2005 which featured collaboration with fellow rappers such as Big Boi and Lil Jon in the hit single "Girlfight". The album did not perform well on the chartes selling only 340,000 copies in the United States.


On 2007, after having several delays, she released her second album called Physical Education. The first single of the album is "D-Girl" which was not as successful as her previous singles. The second single of which is "Pimped Out" which was another unsuccessful single.
