About

Initially, Bread (album) did not make good in terms of sales. But in 1970, after their second album, Manna was released, the song “It Don’t Matter To Me” featured in this album climaxed at #2 and #10 on Billboard's Adult Contemporary and Pop Singles charts, respectively.

The album’s cover show the band members’ photos on paper currency, as in contemporary slang, equating “money” to “bread”.
