[edit] About

Released in September 5, 2000 under Teltec Records, the album Brazilian Rhapsody proves yet again the sheer talent that Daniel Barenboim gracefully possess.

This album features violinist Nikolaj Znaider, flutist Emmanuel Pahud, oboist Alex Klein, clarinetist Larry Combs and many others. Here Brazilian music takes a whole new form, where classical music combines with American jazz, samba and bossa nova--a new taste yet a pleasingly classic sound.
