Song Meanings
Born in The U.S.A.
Born in The U.S.A. speaks about the Vietnam war. It is about the American soldiers who losed a fight in the Vietnam war and when they returned to U.S., they were ignored. -- Autolady006 07:00, 18 March 2007 (PDT)
Reviews
The album is good. The title track, mistakenly taken by many Americans as a sign of patriotism but it was a song about an American who fought without even given any reward at all when they lost the fight. In other songs like Cover Me, the guitars are perfect. Dancing in the Dark and Glory Days are fun songs that are easy to dance to. It's definitely a classic album. Bruce Springsteen is a man of great genius as he has shown down through the years with ranging genres of music. He has always been steeped in mainstream pop/rock music. -- Autolady006 06:59, 18 March 2007 (PDT)
