With a stick, radio-ready sounds like Trip-Hop, Urban Soul, Pop and Danceable Hip-Hop, BoomKat emerged as one of the famous American Dance/Pop Brother-Sister duo. They released their debut album, Boomkatalog.One in 2003.

About
BoomKat is comprised of "Kellin and Taryn Manning". They were born in the small town of Falts Church, Virginia, USA. After their parents separate, they moved to Tucson, Arizona with their mother. Kellin took up an internship with Tucson's NBC TV affiliate after he graduated from high school. Kellin stayed in Tucson to attend College while her sister and mother moved to San Diego for good. Taryn took up performing arts. She also studied dance and went to Hollywood to make and audition. Kellin went to San Diego to bbe with Taryn and his mother.
Kellin and Taryn sent a demo tapes to record producer where "Robbie Robertson" of Mint Records was impressed with their voice and signed them a recording contract. Their debut album, Boomkatalog.One was released in 2003. It spawned one single, "The Wreckoning" which chartered #1 on the Hot Dance Musical Play Chart.
