BoomBox is an American Electronica duo who rose to fame via their album, Visions of Backbeat.

About
BoomBox was formed in 2004 at Muscle Shoals, Alabama by "Zion Godchauz" on guitar and vocals and "DJ Russ Randolph". DJ Russ started playing drums at the age of two. Zion grew up in Marin County, San Francisco Bay area. The two met in 1994 at Ridgeway Midldle school. Their debut album, Visions of Backbeat was released on December 1995 under Heart of Gold and features the single "Friends".
