Blue-Sky Research was released on August 16, 2005 under Atlantic records. The album ranked no.33 on the U.S. Billboard chart. The first single in the album "Calling" peaked no.11 on the Mainstream Rock chart and no.2 on the Modern Rock chart. The single was also used by the WWE for the theme song of Unforgiven pay-per-view event in 2005. The second single hit no.39 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart.
