Bleeding Through is an Alternative metal core band. According to Revolver magazine Bleeding Through is one of the eight bands in the "Future of Metal" cover story.

About
California metal band Bleeding Through started in 1999. It was formed by Brandan Schieppati (vocals), Brian Leppke (guitar), Scott Danough (guitar), Marta Peterson (keyboard), Ryan Wombacher (bass) and Derek Youngsma (drums). They are a hardcore metal band that doesn’t play pop, sca or punk. It was in 2000 that the band had their big break. Prime Directive Records offered them a deal and released their debut album, Dust To Ashes the following year.
Marc Jackson and Schieppati also play with Throwdown and Eighteen Visions. In 2002, the band released their sophomore album, Portrait of The Goddess. The boys took on an extensive tour and went back to the studios to record 2005’s This is Love, This is Murderous. It was followed by The Truth in 2006. The line-up of the band changed in 2007 when Jona Weinhofen became their new guitarist.

- The band was known in the metal music scene when their van had an accident in December 2003, which was filmed by a TV crew, which happened to be there to report on another crash.
