Blake Shelton initially took the spotlight when he bagged the Denbo Diamond Award when he was still young. Oozing with talent and driven to continue his passion for music, he is now a well-known country singer in his own rights.

About
Blake Shelton was born on June 18, 1976 and traces his roots in Ada, Oklahoma where he started writing singing songs as a teenager. He was also able to land a regular spot at a local country music show because of his honky-tonky performance and unique style.
Boren Axton, also from Oklahoma was hooked by this young talent and from there she offered the kid to move out of Oklahoma and transfer to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue his musical career. Not long after graduation, the young Blake Shelton decided to go to new horizons and make his music well known to everyone.
At the age of 17, he landed himself a reording contract with Warner Bros. Records and went straight to the top of the Billboard country chart with debut single "Austin" from his first and self-titled album in the year 2001.
Two years after, a follow-up album entitled The Dreamer was released wherein the single The Baby reached the top of the charts. By 2004, he released Blake Shelton's Barn & Grill, which followed a DVD album release with the same title.
He is now continually touring around the states, bringing raw, country music to everyone. In addition, he is about to release his new album this 2007 entitled Pure B.S..

It shows that he knows what he is doing, in which he is very good at.
