Black Rob is an American rapper from New York. Currently he signed to Bad Boy Entertainment since 1996 and was featured on several releases of the record label.

About
Robert Ross was born on July 12, 1976 in Yonkers, New York. He is professionally known also as Black Rob. He started his music career by guest appearances in several Bad Boy entertainment releases including the singles "Love Like This" from Faith Evans on 1997 and "What About Us" from Total on 1998. He also appeared in the albums by the The Family and The Notorious B.I.G. on 1997 and 1999 respectively.
While guesting, he created for himself substantial media buzz that led to released his debut single "Whoa!" on 2000. The single was followed up by his debut album Life Story which went platinum status. After his debut, he was unable to maintain in releasing hit songe. But released his second album, The Black Rob Report that was not as successfull as his debut.
