Black_Mountain was a Canadian Rock Band formed in 2004. They rose to fame upon the released of their hit album, In The Future.

Black_Mountain was formed in 2004 at Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The band comprised of "Stephen McBean", "Amber Webber", "Matt Camirand", "Jeremy Schmidt" and "Joshua Wells". Stephen also leads another band called, Pink Mountaintops. Their self-titled debut album was issued in 2005 Jagjaguwar Records. Their latest album, In The Future was issued in 2008. It chartered at # 1 in The Top Heatseekers Albums Chart and #13 on Top Independent Albums Chart. The album contains the single, "Bright Lights".
