Big Pun is also known as "Big Punisher" is the most successful rapper that has ever lived. He was the first solo rapper that has reached Platinum sales in his album.

About
Hip hop artist Big Pun (Christopher Lee Rios) was born on November 9, 1971 in Bronx, New York. The nickname Big Pun was taken from Marvel comic book Big Punisher. In 1995, met Fat Joe who was also a Bronx Rapper. Fat Joe saw potential and helped him sign in with Loud Records. In 1998, Big Pun released his debut album, Capital Punisher (album). The following year, the two rappers formed a rap crew and called it Terror Squad.
With his great success the rapper was fighter against obesity. Pun |checked in a weight-loss clinic that showed great results but did not complete the program. In February 7, 2000 Big Pun had a heart attack and died in the age of 28 years old. He left his three children and wife. Pun’s follow-up album, Yeeeah Baby, was released two months after his death. In 2001, his last album, Endangered Species, was issued. It included his greatest hits, unreleased singles and guest appearances.
