Big Daddy Weave is among the roster of popular bands in Christian music. The group's debut album, One and Only gained listener success, while their succeeding albums followed the tracks. Their recent record is Every Time I Breathe, released September 2006.

Big Daddy Weave is Mike (Big Daddy) Weaver on vocals and guitars; Jeff Jones on drums and percussion; Joe Shirk on saxophones, keyboards, and vocals; and Jay Weaver on bass and vocals. The band has released four studio albums since 2002, and an independent record in 2001 (Neighborhoods). Big Daddy Weave mingles pop, folk, and acoustic under their inspirational and worship melodies.
Their debut album One and Only gained approval from listeners, receiving spot in SoundScan's Christian Top 5. They also received a nomination in Gospel Music Awards for New Artist of the Year. Fields of Grace, the band's sophomore release, exhibits Big Daddy Weave's sheer power pop which continued to delight fans since their promising debut.
The band's third album, What I Was Made For tackles their encounters with Hurricane Ivan, which caused devastation to the home of Mike Weaver's parents, and to the band's office. Yet in the middle of this grave adversity, God's new outpouring and presence occurred to Weaver.
In Every Time I Breathe, Big Daddy Weave's fourth and current album, the title track speaks about the band's present status. A lifestyle of worship is what God calls them to, to meet God moment by moment as taking their next breath.
