Big Daddy Kane or "Antonio Hardy" in real life was born on September 16, 1968 in Brooklyn, New York. He became a member of the band, Juice Crew before he went into solo. His debut album, Long Live The Kane was released in 1988. The album chartered at #5 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart. It features the hit single, "Ain't No Half Steppin". His biggest hit album, It's A Big Daddy Thing was released in 1989. It landed at #4 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart. The album spawned the hit singles, "Smooth Operator" and "I Get The Job Done". His next album, Taste of Chocolate was released in 1990 which chartered at #10 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart. Looks Like A Job For was issued in 1993 which reached at #9 on Top R&B/Hip
