Beverly Craven is a songwriter, pianist and a singer from Sri Lanka. She has three albums Beverley Craven (album), Love Scenes and Mixed Emotions. Her hit single is the song "Promise Me".

Singer and songwriter Beverly Craven was born on July 28, 1963 in Colombo, Sri Lanka. At the age of seven years old, she was taught how to play the piano. Craven's mother was a classical violinist. Craven went to an art college and performed with other bands. She also started writing her own songs at this time. A song she wrote caught the attention on Bobby Womack. He hired her as a back-up singer and toured Europe together. In the 80's she signed in with Epic Records. While Craven was working on her debut album, Simply Red, she was guided by Stewart Levine. The album had a hit single, "Promise Me". Craven's follow-up self-titled album was huge success in Europe. In 1992, won Best British Newcomer award in the Brit awards while she was eight months pregnant. After the birth of her three childrens she concentrated on her family with husband, Colin Campsie.
