About
Beach House was formed in 2005 at Baltimore, Maryland by "Alex Scally" on guitar and keyboard and "Victoria Legrand" on vocals and organ. The two began performing music since their childhood days. Their first single, "Apple Orchard" was released in 2006 and was included in their self-titled debut album under Carpark Records. Their second album, Devotion was released last February 26, 2008. The album landed at #5 on US Top Heatseekers Album Chart. It also features the hit single, "Gila" which debuted at #195 on the Billboard Chart.
