BarlowGirl is an American all female group that is best known for their inspiring Christian songs and award-winning singles. Among their most popular songs are "Never Again" and "I Need You To Love Me".

The Barlow sisters: Rebecca, Lauren and Allysa were daughters to Vince Barlow, a man who creates youth CD's for a church in Chicago. The girls toured with their father and played as a backup band for him. They also started writing and composing songs of their own.
Once when they were on a tour, Lauren, who was on the keyboards at that time, caught sight of the drumset and fell in love with it. They then experimented with their compositions and started playing their own songs. Basically, that was the start of the BarlowGirl.
[[Superchick[k]]], who also played Christian songs, were interested in helping out newcomers in their genre. They included a song entitled "Barlow Girls" in their album, thus making the name of the sisters known to the world.
In October 2003, BarlowGirl signed with Fervent Records and released their self-titled debut album in February 2004. "Never Alone", topped R&R's CHR and CRW's Rock Charts and the album sold more than 250,000 copies in just a matter of two months!
Their sophomore album came out 2005, entitled Another Journal Entry which includes tracks "Let Go" and hit single "I Need You To Love Me". It was followed by an expanded edition of the album which came out in August 2006. It featured acoustic versions and radio edits of some of the songs that were already included in the 2005 release.
Their latest studio album was out in July 2007 which debuted at the #1 spot of the Billboard's Christian Charts. "Here Is My Life", "Million Voices" and "I Believe In Love" are just some of the songs included in this album.
