[edit] About

Funk and hard rock band, Bang_Tango began 1987 at Los Angeles, California. The line up consists of Joe Leste (vocals), Mark Knight (guitar), Kyle Stevens (guitar), Kyle Kyle (bass) and Tigg Ketler (drums). In 1987, the band released the EP, Live Injection; it was two years later, when Bang Tango released their full-length debut, Psycho Café, under MCA Records. The video “Someone Like You” had its fair share of airplay on MTV’s Headbanger. Unfortunately, the album was not a success.

In 1991, Bang_Tango released their sophomore effort, Dancin’ on Coals, followed by Life After Death in 1994. The band became out-of-dated compared to the new upcoming bands of the same genre. Bang Tango disbanded later on resulting to Kyle forming a band with Taime Downe called the Newlydeads and Leste joined L.A. Guns. The members decided to give Bang_Tango a second try in 1998. They released Ready to Go in 2004.

[edit] Reviews

  • Bang_Tango is definitely filled with infectious funky beat. The band is not all that different compared to other bands of the same genre but they have good quality in music. Their songs are full of life and energy. --ericgo 07:00, 29 April 2009 (PST)
