Ashley Parker Angel is a musician and aspiring actor who rose to fame when he became a member of the now defunct group O-Town. Now as a solo artist, he released his first album Soundtrack To Your Life in May 2006.

Ashley Parker Angel was born on August 1, 1981 in Redding, California. He was spottted by a talent agency in his hometown, they told him to audition for the 2000 ABC television show Making The Band

Making The Band is and ABC/MTV reality television series who are looking for a new 5 group member band. In this series O-Town was announced to be a winner and Danity Kane. Ashley was selected to be a part of the 5 group member of O-Town.

After O-Town disbanded in 2002, Ashley decided to transfter to Los Angeles to pursue his career as a solo artist. During that time, MTV aprroached Angel and told him to reenter the music industry via a a reality series entitled There and Back: Ashley Parker Angel. Ashley agreed and so the program was aired in January 2006. The program is about struggles as he tried to secure a record deal, brush up on his performing skills and supporting his family.

In 2006, he signed a recording contract under Universal Records. His debut album Soundtrack to Your Life was released.
