As I Lay Dying is a metal band who has numerous Grammy Award nomination. The band was on the second stage alongside Rob Zombie, Killswitch Engage, Mastodon, The Haunted, and It Dies Today.

About
Metalcore band As I Lay Dying began in 2000 at San Diego, California. The line-up consists of Tim Lambesis (vocals), Evan White (guitar), Josh Gilbert (bass) and Jordan Mancino (drums). In 2002 the band released a split CD, As I Lay Dying/the American Tragedy. The following year, the band signed in with Metal Blade Records releasing their debut album, Frail Words Collapse. White later on departed from the band, adding Nick Hipa (lead guitar), Phil Sgrosso (rhythm guitar) and Clind Norris (bass) to the line-up. In 2005, the band released their sophomore album, Shadows Are Security. The release was followed by an extensive tour at the Sounds of the Underground with other bands. Josh Gilbert was then added, replacing Clint Norris. In 2007, As I Lay Dying released An Ocean Between Us.
