Being Jimi Hendrix' first album, Are You Experienced? could be considered as the one thing that introduced the guitar god to the world with a number of songs that showed that Hendrix and his guitar as one. It was released in the UK on May 12, 1967 and in the US on August 23, 1967, produced by Chas Chandler.
