Apologize was released on November 2007 under Interscope records from the debut album Dreaming Out Loud by OneRepublic. The single became a big hit in several countries and peaked no.2 on the Billboard Hot 100 for four weeks and no.1 on the Canadian chart.

Music Video

The video starts off with a woman holding a letter with the title of the track being written on it. A hand starts playing the piano and violin followed by a tray placed on the center of a table. Objects like a glass, light bulb, vase of flowers starts rotating. A woman putting on mascara is shown and the contents of the letter are being read. The woman starts singing. The following scenes are the objects rotating and flowers bloom. As the video progresses there are blots of ink in the paper and on the water and the flowers slowly starts dying. All the objects that rotated on the tray were destroyed. The video ends with the letter being burnt and a silhouette of a person singing.
