Amy Macdonald is a singer and songwriter. Her hit song is "Poison Prince". She played several shows at the music festivals such as Glastonbury, Hyde Park, T in the Park, and V festival.

Scottish singer and songwriter Amy Macdonald was born in August 25, 1987 at Bishopbriggs, Scotland. At the age of 12 years old, Amy learned how to play the guitar taking lessons from the internet. She later on began writing and joined music groups. It then evolved to solo gigs at local coffeehouses. She sang “Everybody Hurts” and her own version of the song “Mad World”. Amy later on toured around Scotland with follow performers, Travis and Paolo Nutini.
Amy Macdonaldlater on landed spots at T in the Park, V and Glastonbury. She later on signed with Vertigo Records releasing her debut album, This Is the Life, in 2007. The album topped at #2 on the first week of its release.
