Amber Pacific was formed in 2002 while the members were still juniors in high school. The band were comprised of "Will Nutter" on vocals and guitar, "Blake Evans" on drums, "Justin Westcott" and "Tyler Peerson" on bass. They were originally called, "Followed Through". In one of their interviews, Justin told them that they needed a lead singer. A man named "Matt Young" told them that his interested. The group took his demo and passed the audition. The band has performed in some local shows.


In the summer of 2003, Tyler left the band and was replaced by "Greg Strong". The band had a tough scheduled by doing shows, printing CD's and talking to various recording companies. Another member of the band, Blake left the band to pursue his other interest. In 2004, they signed a recording contract under Hopeless Records. Due to a legal reasons, the band changed their named to Amber Pacific. "Dango" was added to the band to became their new drummer. In May 2005, they released their debut album, The Promise.


In summer of 2006, "Ben Harper", a former member of Yellowcard joined the group. They released their next album, Truth in Sincerity in May 2007 which chartered at #4 on Top Independent albums. It also featured the single, "Fall Back Into My Life". The band is preparing for their next album.
