Amanda Shaw is a popular Cajun fiddler, singer and actress. One of her album that was released is entitled, Pretty Runs Out.

Amanda Shaw or "Amanda Amaya Shaw" in real life was born on 1990 at Covington, Louisiana, U.S.A. At the age of four, she already knew how to play classical violin. She learned to play Cajun at the age of 8. At the age of 7, Amanda was the youngest person ever to play with the Baton Rouge Symphony as a soloist. The Rosie O'Donnell Show contacted her parents shortly thereafter and she made two appearances on the show in 1999 and 2001.
After that, the family moved to New Orleans so that Amanda can pursue her music career. At the age of 10, she formed her own band called "Cute Guys". Her debut album, Little Black Dog was released in 2001. In 2003, her album, I'm Not a Bubble Gum Pop Princess was issued. It features the single, "I Wanna Be Your Girlfriend".
After the succesful released of her second album, Amanda signed a recording contract under Rounder Records. Her latest album, Pretty Runs Out was released last January 2008.
