[edit] About
[edit] Biography
During the early part of their careers Melanie and Shaznay started out singing by doing backing vocals at the ZTT Recording Studios on All Saints Road in London. Where later on 1993, together with a friend Simone Rainford, they decided to form a group. Initially they plan to name the group "Spice" but thought it wasn't good enough thus, renaming it from the street where they met and their years of birth All Saints 1.9.7.5. They were signed by ZTT Records in 1994 and released 3 singles which were not successful.
Their break came as a band came when they joined the Smash Hits tour in 1995 where they performed with Boyzone, Peter Andre, and Backstreet Boys. After that tour, Simone would decide to leave the band and ZTT Records setting both to find a replacement. Luckily, Melanie Blatt's father met the Appleton's sisters where they joined and united as a foursome.
On 1997, they finally recorded and released their first self-titled album All Saints where it launch the group as pop stars.
