Alisha's Attic were an English pop duo comprised of sisters from Essex England.

Alisha's Attic are Shelly Poole (born Michelle Lena Poole on March 20, 1972) and Karen Poole(born Karen Ann Poole on January 8, 1971). As a child, both of them dreamed to become a part of the music industry. They've sent demo tapes which they recorded at home to different record companies and soon paid off after nine years.
Dave Stewart of a succesful band, Eurythmics, was impressed and soon signed them under Mercury Records Managing Director, Howard Berman. Their debut album Alisha Rules The World went platinum by 1997. The duo enjoyed success between 1996-1998. They've appeared and opened for acts such as INXS.
Shelly has embarked on a solo music career while Karen concentrated more on writing for other artists. Some of the artists she has worked with are Blue, Amy Studt, and Holly Valance.
