[edit] About

It was 1968, and it was the time when history is to unveil the Icon which the world would be embracing with open arms (however with chills perhaps) when Vincent Damon Furnier together with four classmates from Cortez High School in Phoenix, Arizona formed a group named Earwigs and eventually ended as Alice Cooper Group. It was this group who originally showcased on stage rock performance with a theatrically embossed shock rocking new era of rock 'n roll. At that time, many mistakenly labeled Alice Cooper as a blonde folk singer. Never in their wildest nightmare that an all-American simple name was set to change the music history forever. Alice Cooper was also believed to have gotten its name from a woman who had been burned alive at the stake hundreds of year ago for being a witch, reincarnated to flesh as Vincent Damon Furnier (Alice Cooper).

[edit] Trivia

It was believed that Alice Cooper ran for President against Richard Nixon, Because of the
song "Elected". In reality Alice Cooper Was making a satire about what he felt was wrong with the
system. Although as a side effect to that song he did get a lot of write in votes. He was never
really a recognized figure in the election.
