About
Alexisonfire began in 2001 by George Pettit (vocals), Dallas Green (vocals and guitar), Wade MacNeil (bass) and Jesse Ingelevics (drums). The band released their self-titled debut album in 2002. The album gained fans all over Canada. Alexisonfire’s popularity reached America. Equal Vision offered the band a contract. 2004’s Watch Out! Was then issued. The album was more ambitious than the previous release. In 2006, Alexisonfire became a part of the Warped Tour. Later that year, they released their third album, Crisis. The band is currently on an extensive tour and is expecting their fourth release on the fall of 2008.

Trivia

- They became the first "hardcore" band to be #1 on MuchMusic's 'Powershift'.
Reviews
- Alexisonfire does a great job in blending the screaming and singing in their singles. The only flaw of the band is that their singles sound alike. The guitar playing and lyrics are beyond other bands. -Mimi 09:00, 25 January 2008 (PST)
