Alesha Dixon is a singer and at the same time a songwriter from United Kingdom. She wrote and record her solo debut album, Fired Up, working together with producers including Richard X, Xenomania, Johnny Douglas, Brian Higgins, Estelle and Paul Epworth.

Alesha Anjanette Dixon was born on October 7, 1978 in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, UK. In 1999, Dixon joined a dance class, Dance Attic, where she met Sabrina Washington. The two later on got acquainted with Su-Elise Nash. The trio then signed with Telstar Records adding Zena McNally to the line-up of Mis-Teeq. The band released their debut single “Why?”. Shortly after the single was out, McNally departed from the band to pursue her solo career. Mis-Teeq continued releasing three albums.

When Dixon departed from the trio she signed with Polyder Records for a three-album deal. She wrote materials for her debut, Fired Up, which was released 2006. The single “Lipstick” was at #14 on the UK Single Charts. The single was #1 on in Japan. It was followed by “Knockdown” which charted at #25. In 2008, Dixon released, The Alesha Show under Asylum Records.
