About

Linda Ronstadt & Ann Savoy first worked together in a 2002 compilation album Evangeline Made: A tribute to Cajun Music. Now, Adieu False Heart is another album with exquisite vocals with an arrangement of turning folk song to art. They've also done a cover of the Left Banke's 1966 hit song Walk Away Renee in a Cajun ballad. Other singles included are, a kiss-off number The One I Love Is Gone, Go Away from My Window showcasing Linda Ronstadt's soprano and Julie Miller's tear-jerky song I Can't Get Over You.

Reviews

Songs that are compiled in this album are meaningful, timeless and beautiful with perfect collaboration of the voices of Linda Ronstadt and Cajun Queen, Ann Savoy. What makes it different is that the tracks in this album has varying genres from pop, folk and Cajun. Something to remind you how wonderful Linda Ronstadt voice is, which never changed in the past year. --Raine 4 January 2007 23:30 PDT
