About
Adema was formed in California Central Valley. The band was consist of former members of Bakersfield Bands, Juice and SexArt like "Mike Ransom" on guitar, "Tim Fluckey" on guitar, "Dave DeRoo" on bass, "Kriss Kohls" on drum and "Mark Chavez", the younger half-brother of "Jonathan Davis" of Korn with "Davis" and "Ryan Shuck" of Orgy to complete the line up. The demos they wrote in that time secured them a recording contract under Arista Records after a major level bidding war, created undoubtedly because of Chavez family lineage.
In August 2001, they released their debut album, Adema which features their hit singles, "Giving In" and "The Way You Like It". Their first EP, Insomniac Dream was released in 2002. It issued the single, "Immortal" which was written for the video game Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance.
Their second album, Unstable was released in August 2003 under Arista Records. The album was a success, but the collapsed of Arista left the group but soon remedied by Indie Label, Earache. Besides losing support from a major recording company, Mike Ransom and Mark Chavez left the band to pursue other interest.
The three remaining members continue the band with their new member, "Luke Caraccioli". In April 2005, they released their next album, Planets with their singles, "Tornado" and "Planets". In October 2005, Luke left the band stating personal reasons. The band added new vocalist, "Bobby Reeves" in March 2006. They signed a recording contract under Immortal Records in Februaru 2007. Their latest album, Kill The Headlights was released in August 2007 and issued the single, "Cold and Jaded".
