Adassa was born in February 5, 1987 in Miami, Florida and was raised in St. Croix, Virgin Islands. At the age of 4, she had her first performance at their church with her mother. At a very young age of 14, her poems were already published. When she turn 15, she released a Christian album with her mother. At the age of 17, she became a member of the group Xtasy. However, after their first album was finished, she left the group to concentrate on her solo career. She had several albums released like the hit one, Kamasutra which feature the hit singles, "De Tra" and "Bang Bang".
