[edit] About

Considered as one of the best efforts of The Beatles where they gave their best performances (often referred to as the swan song). All four members contributed in songwriting unlike their previous efforts where Lennon-McCartney tandem takes credit in songwriting. Octopus's Garden was written by Ringo Starr and also featured his best drumming. Here Comes The Sun and Something are George Harrison's composition which he wrote when he was playing hookey in Eric Clapton's garden. Other songs were written by Lennon-McCartney.

[edit] The Myth

The cover was said to give clues about Paul is Dead which is an urban legend about Paul McCartney's death and the person appearing in the Abbey Road cover is just a double. Other clues pointing to the alleged death can be found in some of the The Beatles albums. Sir Paul McCartney is alive and well as of 2007.
