A Rush of Blood to the Head is Coldplay's second full-length album. Released in August 2002, the album debuted at #1 in the UK and #5 in the US in the first week.

Coldplay took less than two years to deliver a masterful follow-up. A Rush Of Blood To The Head is soulful and the music is almost flawless. Included in the album is the Grammy Award Winning Clocks which ultimately became the band's largest hit to date.

After a year, the album ranked #473 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.
