A Perfect Circle is an alternative rock band founded by guitarist Billy Howerdel. Some songs of the band appeared in television shows including Six Feet Under, CSI: NY (season one) and Prison Break (season one).

About
Metal band A Perfect Circle started out in 1999 by Billy Howerdel. He was a technician for the band Nine Inch Nails, Tool and Fishbone. Maynard James Keenan from Tool heard Howerdel’s demo and became impress and offered himself to be the vocalist. Originally, Howerdel wanted a female vocalist. The line-up was Keenan (vocals), Howerdel (guitar) and Lenchantin (bass). They later on recruited Failure and Enemy’s Troy Van Leeuwan (guitar) and Guns N’ Roses’ Josh Freese (drums).
A Perfect Circle first performed at a benefit concert at LA on 1999. Howerdel was both the producer and songwriter for APC. The band released their debut album, Mer De Noms in 2000. Three years later, APC released their follow-up album, Thirteenth Step followed by Emotive in 2004.
