A Little More Personal (Raw) is the second album of Lindsay Lohan after her debut album Speak. Although the album fell out on the top 40 on its second week and has been far less commercially successful than Speak, still it was certified Gold by RIAA as well made her first land on the U.S. Billboard Charts with the hit single "Confessions of a Broken Heart".

[edit] About

A Little More Personal (Raw) was released in the United States on December 6, 2005 with Casablanca Records. The album debuted at number 20 on the U.S. Billboard Chart with nearly 82,000 copies sold in its first week.

The single, "Confessions of a Broken Heart" was released as the album's first single, and radio and video promotional campaign began in the late of October 2005. This single became her first to make an appearance on the main U.S. singles chart and the Billboard Hot 100.

Lindsay Lohan holds a good amount of credit for the single for dispensing with niceties on her second album's first track where she played as the anguished, distractingly glamorous 19 year old daughter on the corner. She co-directed the single where the younger Lohan on the video was played by Alian that marks her debut in the acting scene.

The follow-up single was "I Live for the Day", but without a video or radio airplay, the single went unnoticed. The album cover art features red lettering on Lohan's back representing the Chinese character "生" (sheng) which means "raw" as in the album A Little More Personal (Raw).
