A Funk Odyssey was released on September 11, 2001 under Epic Records. The single "Little L" is the theme song of the movie The Sweetest Thing. A Funk Odyssey reached the U.K. LP charts for 2 weeks and the Billboard Electronic Albums chart for a week. The album was placed at number 28 in the U.K. Top 40 Album Chart of 2001.
