8Ball and MJG is an American Hip-Hop duo who rose to fame via their album, Comin Out Hart.

About

8Ball and MJG was formed in 1990 in Memphis, Tennessee by "8Ball" and "MJG". 8Ball's real name is "Premro Smith" while MJG is "Marlon Jermaine Goodwin". The two met at Ridgeway Middle School in 1984. They both love Hip-Hop so they decided to formed a duo.


They signed a recording contract under Suave Records and released their first album, Comin Out Hard in 1993 which landed at #40 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart. In 1994, they released their second album, On The Outside Looking In under Suave Records which chartered at #11 on the on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart.


Their next album, Space Age For Eva was released in 200o under Interscope Records which peaked at #9 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart and #30 on The Billboard 200 Albums Chart. The album features the singles, "Pimp Hard" and "Buck Bounce".


Their next album, Living Legends was issued in 2004 which became their biggest hit album. The album peaked at #1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart and #3 on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart. Their latest album, Ridin High was released in 2007 by Bad Boy Records. It features the single, "Relaz and Take Notes".
