[edit] About
12 Stones began in New Orleans, Mandeville on 2000 containing Paul McCoy (vocals), Kevin Dorr (bass), Eric Weaver (guitar) and Aaron Gainer (drums). The band ventured to New York City and played at an industry showcase where they were signed with Wind Up Records. Jay Baumgardner produced their self-titled debut album which was released on 2002. The following year, McCoy had a duet with Evanescence’s smash hit, “Bring Me to Life”, where they gained more popular. It was included on the soundtrack of the film, Daredevil. In 2004, 12 Stones issued their sophomore album, Potter’s Field. The band went on a short hiatus to spend time with their family and brain stormed on their third effort. While recording on Anthem for the Underdog they were inspired with the Hurricane Katrina tragedy. The album was released on 2007.
