[edit] About

R&b group 112, Marvin, Daron, Q and Mike, has been friends since high school. The four met each other during high school in Atlanta, Georgia. They were active in their school and in church. 112 caught the attention of Kevin Wales and Courtney Sills. Wales and Sills informed Sean "Puffy" Combs about the talented boys at a local high school. Combs was impressed and signed them in with Bad Boy Records. Wales and Sills becams 112's managers. In 1996, the quartet released their self-titled debut album and eventually achieving the gold status. 112 had a great team on their back, Wayna Morris from Boyz II Men, Stevie J and Combs. The single "Only You" was a hit. It peaked at #3 on the R&B Charts. In 1998, a second album, Room 112, was issued followed by Part III in 2001. 112 departed from Bad Boy Records and Hot & Wet hit stands in 2003. Two years later, Pleasure & Pain was released under Def Soul Records.

[edit] Reviews

  • 112's personality and voice is on fire especially when they take on the stage. When you play their cd you don't want to skip any song unlike other R&B group who are so overrated. 112 has a contagious beat that keeps on going. --Mimi 07:20, 3 April 2007 (PST)
